We guarantee that your DJ will:

  1. Deliver Wow by creating an unprecedented experience!
  2. Show a personable and friendly attitude at all times.
  3. Play the music that you (and guests) request.
  4. Provide professional sound equipment.
  5. Coordinate and announce all the events.
  6. Hold a consultation prior to the event.
  7. Demonstrate exceptional communication skills.
  8. Wear formal attire or dress as requested.
  9. Be completely set up prior to guests' arrival.
  10. Provide one hour free travel (each way).

Any of our packages can be reserved with a $100 retainer* along with a signed agreement.

* RETAINER also serves as the down payment.

 

RECEPTION PACKAGES

(Up to six hours of performance time)

Client does NOT pay for setup/breakdown time.  Beyond 6 hours, $50 per 1/2 hour.

1) Charleston Classic – $495

  • All the "Wow" delivered for an amazing price. This package contains all the high quality equipment,music and consultations as the other packages with your DJ serving as the Master of Ceremonies for the entire event.

2) Gold Standard – $595

Once DJs on the Music by Request team have performed and coordinated 50 receptions, they are certified "Gold." This indicates that they have achieved the gold standard of excellence that our clients have raved about for years. If experience is important to you, this is a pacage that will exceed your expectations.

3) Platinum Premier! – $795

The premier wedding disc jockeys in the Southeast. The certification of "Platinum" guarantees that your DJ has performed and coordinated at least 100 receptions. Many of them have entertained at several hundred weddings. Every professional wedding vendor in the Charleston area knows these DJs and will recommend them to you by name. They have created hundreds of unprecedented experiences and will "Deliver Wow" at your event. Wedding ceremony (on site) complimentary if requested.

4) The Signature – $995

    Jay Maxwell will personally be your disc jockey from beginning to end -- GUARANTEED! Jay has "delivered wow" at thousands of wedding receptions since 1982 and has literally written the book on how to entertain at receptions.  Professional disc jockeys across the United States and Canada read his book, Play Something We Can Dance To! and seek his advice in his articles as the senior contributor to the industry standard magazine, Mobile Beat, where he holds the title "Musicologist." Jay's mission is to always go above and beyond what people are expecting.  The Signature is designed for those wanting the ultimate unprecedented "wow" experience.  Wedding ceremony (on site) complimentary if requested.

    Rehearsal Party – $295 - $395

    • THREE  hours of performance time $295 with purchasing any of the above reception packages.
    • $395 without also purchasing a reception package
